Bucks County Republican Committee Chair Pat Poprik released a statement following the PA Democratic Party’s decision to block the candidacy of Rachel Fingles for the Special Election to represent the 18th Legislative District.
It’s apparent that the Democratic establishment has no interest in respecting the voters of Bensalem and their elected representatives on the local Committee. They would rather install their own candidate, answerable only to the special interests by which his campaign will be funded.
Fortunately all Bensalem voters, Republican, Democrat, and Independent, will have a clear choice on March 17. KC Tomlinson will stand up to special interests in Harrisburg and make sure every voice in Bensalem is represented. The Bucks County Republican Party is proud to support her.
The special election to fill the seat vacated by now-Bucks County Commissioner Gene DiGirolamo will take place on March 17th. The decision of the PA Democratic Party does not prevent Fingles from seeking the Democratic nomination for the for a full two-year term on April 28th.
